Veneers involve three appointments to the dental office. First, the patient will undergo a consultation with Dr. Lippi in which he evaluates your needs for a beautiful smile and examines your oral health. During your consultation, a treatment plan will be determined which outlines how and when treatment will take place.

Once you are ready to begin treatment, your next visit involves preparing the tooth, or teeth, that will be covered by a veneer. Sometimes, patients do not need local anesthesia, depending on their level of tooth sensitivity. The tooth may need to be slightly buffed or shaped accordingly, which allows room for placement of the veneers.

Impressions are taken of your teeth and mouth, which is what the dental lab uses to custom-make your veneers. Your last visit is when your veneers are permanently placed on your teeth. Once the veneers are in place, Dr. Lippi will ensure your smile is not only aesthetically pleasing but also functions properly, by making any necessary adjustments to the veneers.

Follow-up visits may be necessary to determine if any additional adjustments are needed. Now, you have the beautiful smile you have always desired!
